Lead - Time

We usually recommend 3-6 months’ notice. All the intricate details require a good amount of time to create. In order to create a smooth process for our clients, we would recommend contacting us as soon as your wedding date is secured.

Pricing

Our cakes start at HKD $4000.00 and up. Wedding cakes are highly complex works of art and require a lot of time so the final price will reflect on the complexity, design, flavor, and number of servings.

If you know you would like to work with us but are unsure about your design at this moment, not a problem! You can lock down your date. We require a deposit of HKD $3000.00 which is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Designing your cake / Consultation

Once you have secured your date, we will work on your cake design with you. Most of this will be done via email or phone.

We highly recommend sending some of the following items.

Please send us some references beforehand to create a smoother process.

Final design and pricing will be confirmed via email. An order will only be confirmed when the client makes the full payment and signs the contract attached to the email.

Cake Tasting

IN STUDIO

We have in-studio cake-tasting sessions available for clients. Clients can choose up to 3 flavors.
This is available for clients whose wedding date is at least 3 months away.
The session is around 1 hr long.
We welcome two people at the cake tasting + your wedding planner.
Cake-tasting sessions are $500.00.

CAKE TASTING BOXES

If your wedding is less than 3 months away, we also have cake-tasting boxes available for purchase.
The boxes are priced at HKD $500 or $650 (premium flavors) and can be picked up at our Wong Chuk Hang Studio or Central Office. They can also be delivered to you at an additional cost.

The cake-tasting session/box fee will be credited towards your final order should you proceed with us.
Please note that if you purchased a cake-tasting box and had an in-studio consultation, we will only waive one fee.

SKETCH/DESIGN PROCESS

After receiving the deposit to lock down the dates, we will discuss your cake design! We will provide you with a rough sketch of all the details discussed during the consultation and via email conversations with a quotation.

We will send you a detailed invoice when you are happy and ready to proceed with the design. Payment is made via ATM, FPS, or PayMe. The balance of your order must be paid in full 1 month before your wedding day.

Order Changes

Once your order design is set and payment has been made, reasonable changes may be made up to 1 month in advance. Additional prices may be applied to the cake depending on the nature of the changes.

The Big Day!

Due to the delicate nature of our wedding cakes, most couples choose a full delivery and set-up service at their venue. We will co-ordinate with your contact person directly to arrange accordingly. You may also collect your cake from my premises. The Sweet Spot will not accept responsibility for any damages to collected cakes after they have left our premises.
